PROJECT SCOPE

Mechanical Installation of more than 1000 Tons of process equipment, and piping for the Fume Treatment Plant inside & outside the Potrooms of the Qatar Aluminum Smelter Project (Qatalum). 

 

Scope of works also included support installation services for the client to help them wrap-up the project after a defaulting contractor. 

 

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

• Completed the originally assigned works within the very challenging timeline of 90 days whilst remaining within the project’s budget. The project was highly demanding where we were commissioned to replace a defaulting contractor and were under high pressure by the client and the plant owner to meet milestones.

 

• Managed to gain the trust of the client and continuously extend the scope of supply to include many services such as punchlist clearing activities, commissioning assistance and technical support services.  

 

• Succeeded to remain with the client as the last contractor onsite, offering them various services, out of more than thirty (30) subcontractors.

 

• Extended the original contract value to reach more than 400% of its original value.
